Executive Chef John Palacio
Chef John has 24 years of experience in fine dining and the hotel business, having worked in Los Angeles, Kansas City and Tucson. He is married to Linda, and father to Alexandria, Giovanti and Guiliano. Chef John grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and is a true Husker fan. He served our country as a US Marine, machine gunner 1st Marine Division. After his tour of duty he completed a three year chef's apprenticeship and worked his way to Executive Chef at the Sheraton Read House. He lives in Hixson and has been Executive Chef at Porter's steakhouse for eight years. Under Chef John's direction, Porter's is well known for its fine dining ambiance, featuring prime steaks and wild fish, with everything made in house.
